VERIFICATION

If your application is selected for a process called verification, MC will be comparing information from your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application with signed copies of your and your parent(s)' federal tax forms if required, and other financial documents as requested.

Federal regulations state that we have the right to ask you for this information before awarding federal aid. If there are differences between your application information and your financial documents, correction will need to be made electronically by the student or the MC Office ofStudent Financial Aid.

Complete the required verification forms and submit them to the financial aid office as soon as possible, so that your financial aid will not be delayed. If you need assistance contact the Office of Student Financial Aid. If you have difficulty or cannot download the documents from MYMC, you may request them from the financial aid office.
