InDesign, CMP920
InDesign CS3 is for beginning users. The students will learn basics on how to: layout creative documents; set preferences; place, flow, and edit text from Word documents; place and manipulate graphics; use master pages and styles to manage typesetting; print and export files to PDF.
Prerequisites: Computer Basics (CMP072), Working with Windows XP or Vista, and MS Word or equivalent experience.
Classroom Hours: 18
Textbook: Purchase at Rockville Campus Book Store and bring to first class along with a USB memory stick Flash Drive/memory stick (at least 512 MB).
