WD&CE Scholarship Opportunities

There are NO SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SUMMER TERM CLASSES.
Look for information for Fall 2012 classes in early July.

Need Extra $$$From time to time Workforce Development & Continuing Education has scholarship opportunities. These scholarships are posted on the WD&CE web site along with the specific terms and conditions of each scholarship. If you are interested in applying for one of the scholarship opportunities please pay close attention to the instructions, and be sure to include any necessary documentation, as incomplete applications are not considered.

WD&CE Career Path Scholarship

A limited number of scholarships are available, pending funding, through Montgomery College Workforce Development & Continuing Education for students pursuing career path courses with the intention to obtain entry-level employment.  This scholarship is awarded for up to $1,000 to cover tuition and fees only.  The scholarship may be applied to one or more eligible courses, within the career area chosen, to pay tuition and fees not covered by another funding source, waiver eligibility, or payment plan (including employers).  This scholarship will not cover 100% of the applicable tuition and fees if the total tuition and fees exceed $1,000.

Kaiser Permanente Health Science Scholarship

Funding is not available at his time for the Kaiser Permanente Health Science Scholarship for Spring 2012 semester.

Reznick Group Scholarship for Green and Sustainability Education

The Reznick Group Scholarship is currently offering five scholarship opportunities in the amount of $499.00 each to provide funding for individuals with financial needs and/or small companies and nonprofits to complete the new online course, Introduction to Environmental and Social Sustainability, Course MGT348. MC's Workforce Development & Continuing Education will partner with the nonprofit organization, Bethesda Green, the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, and the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection to offer this course.
